2021.09.27 20:21 moparcam Online application forms that require you to fill out the date you graduated college should be banned. It's tantamount to asking you how old you are.
Prove me wrong. This happens mostly with the WorkDay HR software, and it's bullshit, and it helps to foment age discrimination. Why is this allowed? Most people graduate with a BA at 22-23. It's not hard to do the math when given someone's college graduation year. If you graduated college in 2000, you would be approximately 42-44 today, FFS.

2021.09.27 20:21 hunkachunk88888 Should I tell a chubby girl I like chubby girls?
I've always liked chubby girls. Like don't get me wrong skinny girls are beautiful to. I'm just sexually attracted to chubby girls. I've noticed when dating they usually ask me like why do you want to date me. I'm fat. I feel like if I say I like fat girls they would be offended and think I'm just with them because I have a fat kink or something lol.

I'm 19F (lesbian) and have never dated anyone outside of college. I have no idea how to initiate a relationship or talk to girls I find attractive. I tend to get really flustered really easily by beautiful women even if they just have a gorgeous voice and eyes.
How do I get over this initial situation and actually gather up the courage to talk to her and maybe get her number or something?

Hey, uhm. I cannot say that I am shy because I am not, though I am often considered one by anyone impatient enough to dive deeper with me. I am on a rough healing process because I was always pushed away and only accepted when there was in need of a guy to be made fun of. That made me build impenetrable walls and in the rush of building I forgot to build a door and now I am trapped inside my own walls trying to scratch my way out with a tea-spoon ('cause I live in London and tea is simply amazing). I am not the type of guy to write this kind of posts because 'putting myself out there' goes against my character but it's part of my healing process and so I just want to see if I'm as bad as my mind is telling me. I'm 24 (soon 25) by the way. Okay, I'll shh now because I'm terrible at this. Haha ! Have a fantabulous rest of your day ! :)

2021.09.27 20:21 xb666mx NR200 Inverted (Vertical GPU + Top Radiator)
Hey y'all, greetings from Germany! :)
Most important: Pics!!! (See attached :D)
Here are the specs of my beloved NR200 and a description of the process.
Why I inverted it:
- GPU: Asus TUF 3080 OC (Overclock+Undervolt 1980 MHz @ 900 mV plus +1000 MHz MemClock)
- RAM: 2x G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 CL16 (DOCP active)
- CPU: Ryzen 5600X (boosting up to 4850 MHz with PBO Curve Optimizer All-Core Negative 25 to keep it cool and boosting)
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240 Mirror ARGB (Pump running @ 60% - 100%)
- MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING
- PSU: Corsair SF750
- SSD: 2x Kingston A2000 1TB M.2
- FANS: 4x Thermaltake Thoughfan 12
I wanted an ITX build for some time and with all the praise the NR200 got, that case was a no-brainer to get. So in Summer 2020 I searched for it and found... nothing. After some weeks the case was finally listed at an online retailer. But it was the NR200P. Okay, well - I thought - I want this case and I don't have to use the TG Panel (and it doesn't add this much of an extra premium). Or - more specific - I couldn't use the TG panel because I had a 240mm AIO lying around with the pump in the CPU block and didn't want to bottom mount the radiator. I bought that case and installed everything with the standard layout: Horizontal GPU, side mounted radiator and top fans. And I was really really happy. Easy installation, great temps and low noise. But now, after nearly one year, I was bored and wanted something fresh - and the TG panel came to my mind. So I searched the big old internet for a way to combine my existing hardware with that TG panel. And yep, Reddit to the rescue: NR200 Inverted Mod. :D How it started:
Thanks to that toolless and modular approach, the NR200 was gutted in seconds. And thanks to these two reddit posts, with one video and many pictures plus description, I was well prepared. First thing I struggled was with removing the rivets. I grabbed my hand drill and yeah... these things spin freely. It's just a little metal ball pressed through the both plates which is then wrapped in these double-layered metal sheet and holds them together. So I guess the best tool would be an mini angle grinder and remove that ball-in-a-stick from the inside of the case. But yeah, I don't own one... so I used pliers to cut and press so that there wasn't any rotating material left. Then the drill worked much better. After the front plate was loose, I rotated it 180° and held it against the rest of the case. First I tried to bend some metal but after a few seconds I took the metal filer. A few minutes later the lip was filed down enough to make the back plate fall in place. The fit was so tight that there wasn't any movement between the parts. So I decided to NOT DRILL holes for screwing the back plate back down. That's when the case skeleton was finished. Putting everything back in:
I thought the rest was easy. And yes, for most of it, it was. First small complication was that I left the AIO attached to the CPU/MOBO and I had to pay attention to not CLOINK it against everything. After everything except of the AIO and GPU was in place and the cables were neatly packed against the PSU shroud the next step was to mount the radiator to the top panel. So i removed the mesh, took two fans and the radiator and guess what... the long radiator screws (for going "through" the fans) were a little bit to short and couldn't reach/grip the radiator screw holes... and I didn't even used washers because the screw heads were big enough for the holes in the top panel. So I switched the position of rad and fans. The rad was now placed under the top panel and the shorter rad screws reached/gripped the screw holes in the radiator. Yay. But Nay. The screw heads seemed to be big enough to not slip through the holes in the top panel but the radiator went loose when I attempted to mount the top panel to the rest of the case. And because the screws merely reached the rad there was no chance to install washers. I was about to give in and buy some fitting screws but then I looked at those black rubber fittings for mounted the fans toolless. Quick and (very) cheap/dirty way of mounting that top radiator:
If you cut it right these things are basically soft washers. I laid it on the hole of the top panel, put one of these short rad screws through and pressed/forced it some way down until the screw gripped the radiator. I made three more of these and now the radiator was fixed with four screws to the top panel. Sadly with this method you couldn't use the other four holes because the spacing in the top panel is for two fans and not for one radiator (or better: you shouldn't use the other four holes as you may get the screws in at an angle and damage the radiator screw holes. If you use a better combination of screws and washers you can compensate for these spacing issues and screw all eight screws in). Oh, I nearly forgot: I oriented the radiator so that its hoses are at the back of the case (and after the PC is finished next to / behind the riser cable). For the GPU I bought two power adapters to reroute these ports to the back of the card and therefore (after installation) between the mainboard and GPU because I wanted to use two 25mm fans in the bottom and the power cables/connector had collided otherwise. And yeah: Those two 25mm fans in the bottom barely fitted underneath that GPU. But I may want to call it a perfect fit because the GPU is now resting on on the left fan and isn't sagging. But there's no space and fortunately no need for a fan grill (because there aren't any cables on top). For that right fan you may want to install a fan grill because many cables (for 8-pin power, fans and ARGB) and maybe the two radiator hoses will be pushed in that direction. After putting the TG panel on:
I did it! I surely reads as if this took me half a day... and it may have felt like it when I had to improvise... but in reality it wasn't even a hour. :D And it looked really nice. Not as fancy as it could because the Asus TUF 3080 OC isn't the shiniest (RGB'est?!) of all RTX 3000 out there but it has some sort of understatement. So I plugged everything in and it worked just fine. IMPORTANT: Before I started I went in to the BIOS and changed the PCIE module from GEN4/AUTO to GEN3 because of that PCIe 3.0 riser cable of the NR200. If you don't do this you'll be greeted with a black screen - or if you update the BIOS like me. Fail. Ehm, yes. But fortunately you can just pop off that front panel, take out the GPU and riser cable, shove the top panel with the attached radiator through the front panel to get the hoses out of the way and then you can mount the GPU directly to the PCIe slot of the MOBO. With this the GEN4 connection is working again, you can boot into the BIOS and switch it to GEN3. Now it was time to benchmark this beauty! Is it hot in here or is it just me... or the GPU?!
Yeah... the GPU didn't like it. At all. So here is my experience with the TG panel and all fan configurations (thank god that NR200 is modular and changing the fan orientations is a matter of two minutes): 1. Both intake: I thought the GPU can't get any air so I have to shove it in. But all that shoved-in air couldn't escape anywhere. So basically everything went up in flames (gladly no, but the all of the reported temperatures were BAD, e.g. GPU above 90°C.) 2. Top exhaust / bottom intake: This made it better. Fresh air from the bottom through the GPU and the radiator pulled it out of the case. But not much better. The GPU was still running hot (above 80°C). And the CPU wasn't running nearly as cool anymore (from 60°C to 80°C). 3. Both exhaust: I had a bad feeling about this. Hot air goes out - but were does cool air come in? Don't waste your time with this configuration. 4. Top intake / bottom exhaust: Had a bad feeling again... and yeah... hot air from radiator to the GPU isn't such a great idea. *PEEEEEEEEEEP* <- me, cursing. :'D I figured the TG panel (for my setup) isn't going to happen and after some seconds (or minutes?!) of cursing I decided to... ... switch from the TG panel back to the mesh panel!
Yep. Everyone on YT says that a vertical orientation with a mesh panel is a waste of everything because you can't enjoy/see the looks of your GPU, the noise is directed at you and you may get worse temperatures as a whole. But hey, there I was... I had some more spare time (after midnight)... and didn't want to undo everything I did that day. And here we go again... benchmarking... and changing the fan orientations in between. I used my experience from before and tested the two standard / best configurations first: 4. Top intake / bottom exhaust: Good CPU thermals. Meh GPU thermals. The GPU still doesn't really like when there is hot air stuck on top of it without any chance to escape. 2. Top exhaust / bottom intake: Turn the airflow 180° around. Get cool air to that GPU! Better. But not nearly as good as I hoped. And the CPU took a hit because of ALL THE HOT AIR from the GPU. Okay, mesh isn't TG - I heared that many times before... so I'll see it for my own: 1. Both intake: Nope. Nope. Nope. Now I basically had three intakes: GPU + Radiator + Bottom fans. But no exhaust. That's were mesh and TG are the same. You don't want to build an hot air balloon, I guess. 2. Both exhaust: Last chance. Last hope. And well. HOLY MOLY. That configuration is PURE MAGIC (for my setup). It's even better than the standard / horizontal configuration of the NR200!!! (*)
(*) If you have a CPU with low TDP and a good AIO. My explanation: GPU: It can suck cool air through the mesh and gets some cooling from below. Plus that top radiator takes that bubble of hot air above the GPU away. So for the GPU: This is the coolest setup possible! CPU: You may tend to say that it will run far too hot... but because there is a lot of cool air passing only the back of the GPU and going into the radiator the temperatures aren't bad at all. Okay, not nearly as good as you'd have going with a radiator intake but that's definitely the best compromise. On top of that fresh breath of cool air from the bottom fans the GPU stays really cool which means that little hot air which passes through the radiator altogether. Everything else: In the standard configuration the temperatures of everything else attached to the MOBO was... not optimal (to put it nicely). The horizontal GPU cuts off the airflow from the bottom of the case. And the (side mounted) radiator and top fans mostly run either low speed (little airflow over the MOBO) or at higher speeds but with hotter air (which ultimately also doesn't cool the internals of the case). With this vertical GPU setup you have cool air flowing behind the GPU from the bottom fans to the top radiator and over the internals of the case. Only the front half of the case has to handle hot air - and that's nearly exclusively the GPU alone. BLA BLA BLA... TLDR:
- TG Panel and AIO is a hard match in the NR200 (or for me: a hard pass)
- Inverting your NR200 may also be beneficial to your PC's temperatures and therefore noise (despite what other people [without really testing it out] say)
I wanted to give something back to the Reddit community because you guys helped me a lot of times. <3

2021.09.27 20:21 ElephantPaint Can having sex after a while disrupt hormones from Nuvaring while using it to skip periods?
Hi y’all, to preface, I am seeing a gyno next week but wanted some insight from others who may have had similar experiences ahead of time.
So I’ve been skipping my period on the nuvaring for a few years and typically don’t have issues. Sometimes if I take too long to replace the ring I’ll get breakthrough bleeding but it doesn’t last long. And when they switched the manufacturer back and forth I had some breakthrough bleeding but now I’ve been back on the generic manufactured by Prasco (same as nuvaring) for a couple months.
I’ve been sexually active on nuvaring before but I have just recently become sexually active again within a new relationship after a 4-5 month break. We started having sex a couple weeks ago and no bleeding or anything abnormal, it was the same time I replaced the ring with a new one, but did have some “old blood” for a few days. The next week, we had sex again, and no bleeding at all. This time, a few days later… well let’s just say I saw my own bloody handprint on the bed and was very confused.
It was bright red but I can’t tell if it was surface bleeding or breakthrough bleeding. There was minimal bleeding overnight (tampon was mostly empty) and I am… ahem… “experienced” and don’t typically have this issue so I don’t think it was surface bleeding but on the other hand could having sex after a long break cause hormonal disruptions with the nuvaring?
